The protein and energy requirements of medium and large breeds are different in the puppy and young dog phases. In order to support age- and needs-based growth, Happy Dog has developed the 2-phase concept.
Additional advantages
Small dog breeds up to 10 kg sometimes reach their final weight at around 7-9 months. Therefore, the growth curve of these breeds is very flat. The need for nutrients compared to the adult diet changes only slightly. It is not necessary to switch to a junior dog food before switching to an adult product.
As with humans, your dog's health, zest for life and well-being depend to a large extent on the food he eats every day. We recommend high-quality dry complete food for a balanced, healthy diet for your dog. Dry food is healthier, more effective and cheaper!

Dry food is useful for dental care and strengthening the teeth. Although this cannot completely prevent tartar in predisposed animals, at least it can usually be delayed. In addition, biting the kibble supports the teeth holding apparatus and thus helps prevent loose teeth.
In the case of high-quality dry food, the protein sources are clearly declared. It is different with canned food: Even with high-quality products, only “meat and animal by-products” are listed under composition.
